Where does the data come from?
From TPT's own public search systems. Every night we record, for roughly 24,000 real search phrases, how often teachers search them (popularity) and how many resources compete for them. We've been recording daily since September 2025 — that history is what powers the trends, the Seasonal Calendar, and scores nobody can copy overnight.
Are the sales and revenue numbers exact?
No — and anyone who tells you otherwise is guessing too. TPT doesn't publish sales figures, so we estimate from public signals (review counts and marketplace review rates). Treat them as comparisons between products, not accounting: a product showing 3,000 estimated sales versus one showing 40 is a meaningful signal even if neither number is exact.
What's the difference between the Keyword Generator and the Keyword Explorer?
The Generator searches TPT live — type like a buyer and see real suggestions with fresh data, great for discovering. The Explorer searches our recorded database of 38,000+ phrases with full scores, trends, and history — great for analyzing.
How do plan limits work?
Daily limits (searches, analyses, checks) reset at midnight UTC every day. Caps (tracked products, lists) are totals. Your plan page and every tool show a live meter of what's left today.
How do I upgrade, downgrade or cancel?
Upgrade from the Pricing page — your new plan starts immediately and we make sure you're never billed twice. Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing → Manage / cancel subscription: no more charges, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
How do refunds work?
First payment: full refund within 7 days, no questions — message us on the Support page. Renewals aren't refundable (cancel instead — you keep the time you paid for). Full details in the Refund Policy.
Why don't I see some keywords others talk about?
Two honest reasons: a keyword may have dropped out of TPT's live suggestions (we mark those dormant), or it doesn't have enough reliable data yet — we'd rather show you nothing than a made-up number.
